Elizabeth (Libby) Seifel is passionate about creating great urban communities and advancing women’s success in business, real estate and technology. Libby is the founder of the Women’s Development Collaborative, a national network that supports and inspires women to lead transformative real estate developments.
Throughout her career, Libby she has promoted diversity and inclusion through her work with the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative, ULI San Francisco District Council, Women President’s Organization, and MIT.
As president of Seifel Consulting, she has advised hundreds of clients on how to plan, fund and develop infill developments that achieve triple bottom line objectives, where sustainability and social equity are pursued in equal measure alongside strong financial returns. She actively promotes best practice in urban development and teaches at the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design MRED+D graduate program. Prior to her consulting career, Libby was the founding Executive Director of a non-profit developer of a ULI award-winning mixed income housing development in Boston.
